Day 15
In your own space, create your own challenge. What’s something you want to see more people doing in fandom? Is there something fun you’ve tried that you think other people would enjoy if they gave it a go? Dare your friends to try it out, and have fun with it. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
There are several things I would like to challenge the fandom community to do.
1 – Consider leaving a couple words of review when you read, instead of just hitting the Kudos button. Kudos are nice, but even a few words (it doesn’t have to be an in depth book review!) mean a lot more than just a little click.
2 – Write outside your box. Try a new pairing! A new situation! Even a new fandom! I’m the biggest fan of reading and writing something new if you can. Especially pairings you might not think of right away! Try something new!
3 – In conjunction with the first two, really. If you like an author’s works, give their other works a chance! I have read in fandoms and pairings I never would have tried, and LOVED them, because I loved work by that author already! So don’t say no just because it doesn’t initially look like your thing!
