Snowflake Challenge: Day 7

Fandom Snowflake Challenge banner

Day 7

In your own space, share your love for a trope, cliché, kink, motif, or theme. (More than one is okay, too.) Tell us about it, tell us why you love it, give us some examples and recs. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Oh HMMMM. I’m not sure what my fave might be, really. I know I love for relationships to be somewhat realistic, and that if it’s just OH X AND Y ARE TOGETHER FOREVEH I can blink a lot and quit reading. I love a relationship having a basis and a depth – I prefer even my porn have some plot, please. Make me believe it, sell it to me, make me want it.

I love having unexpected commonalities or hobbies or such draw people together. I love to have my heart torn out sometimes, and hopefully put back together again.

Forgive me, honestly I’m really really tired and having trouble thinking right now.

I don’t like time travel that much, though there are of course exceptions to that rule. I love someone enriching the established world with their own take on some things without contradicting what already exists.

I love a sweeping romance. I love tension. I love love love fairy tale retellings. I love intellectual connections.

Oh gosh, there’s just so much I enjoy.
