Cemeteries are fascinating plaves! And are you anywhere near my neck of the woods?

Ahhh...about 4 hours south of me. I went to college in Roanoke.

Ah very cool! I live in the Lynchburg/Bedford/Roanoke area. :D I'm guessing you went to Hollins?

No, not at all! My mom's dad was a sexton, and lived next to the city's cemetery. I enjoyed visiting the place whenever I was in town. The University of Oregon has a pioneer cemetery snuggled up in its campus, School of Music to the west, Knight Library, and the Women's Gym to the north, and to the east, McArthur Court (not to be confused with MacArthur Park).

Bring on the tombstones (but leave the vampires and zombies out of it)!

I love cemeteries and cemetery photos. However, I know I'm weird, so.... best to ask!

As a suggestion to annoy the very awful neighbor who accused us of stealing her driveway (how do you do that, anyway?), I suggested my mum make a zombie garden. A few black roses, a fake coffin in a hole, and a zombie garden statue.

Well, I would like that garden, anyway... ;)

Sounds more original than a shrine to Elvis!
