Drabble: Hide and Seek (Draco/Millie PG-13)
Title: Hide and Seek
Prompt: You don’t have to hide anything from me.
Characters/Pairing: Draco/Millicent
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: references to self harm
Word count: 100
Summary: You don’t have to hide anything from me.
A/N: 10 prompts-10 days-10 drabbles challenge from delayed_poet. I’m not doing the days, it seems, but here is one for you regardless.

Draco tugged the cuffs of his sleeves in a self-conscious motion Millie was becoming familiar with. She knew, from eye-corner glimpses, that they covered newish scars, but she never let her gaze linger or her questions leave her lips.

She reached over and slipped her hand into his, their fingers meshing together like pieces of a puzzle. With the startling frankness, she met gaze and said, “You don’t have to hide anything from me.”

Draco’s grey eyes widened slightly, but before he could say anything she pulled him into a kiss to make him forget his words and his worries.

That would torment Draco twice as much as being asked!
Well done.

I think, knowing the background and situation here, that her saying that might scare him away initially, but with a little time to think, he'd come to accept what she's offering to him :)

This is so sad, so it makes sense that I really like it *grin*

Probably, but she'd work to keep him close. She won't just let him run away completely.

:D Glad you liked.

Love the first sentence =)

Shouldn't that be:
"With startling frankness, she met his gaze and said" ?

Yeah, you're right. Thus the reason I should get anything I cut words out of betaed, LOL. Thanks :)
