Sign-ups are open for wizard_love. Anyone interested in signing up? I'm considering doing it again this year. There were some great submissions last year.

*waves hello* I'll be doing wizard_love; drafting my sign-up right now (and despairing at my verbosity as ever). :)

Awesomeness. I'm just wibbling because I already have a couple of fics due right around that time...

I've got to admit I'm wibbling too, for all that I've decided to sign up. I have Charlieficathon due on Jan 9, and no time to start on it until around Nov 17 when the Smutty_Claus is due. So I'm just crossing my fingers tight for neat little 5,000-words-or-less plotbunnies for the two due in January... :)

Well, I have the Charlieficathon due Jan 9, and another fic fest due at the end of Jan. (nextgenfest). O.o

I saw those are open. I am under threat of divorce severe husbandly displeasure to sign up for any more exchanges. You should do it, though, because you're so good at all different ships. I'd never do well at this one 'cuz I only write ONE ship well, and two on an if-I-have-to basis. (Remus/Tonks, Snape/Lily) Go for it!

Edited for transposition, which isn't nearly as much fun as it sounds.

What other exchanges are you signed up for, if you don't mind my asking?

Well, problem is I'm already committed to two others at the moment, and I'm doing something different for a mini-Nano. So I'd probably be overreaching myself, but still... it was a very fun fest to do.

I bet you could write anything you set your mind to. You have such lovely writing.

That's a lovely compliment, Gels. Thank you. My last *sniff* exchange was the SSHG Exchange last winter. My husband objects to them, for perfectly good reasons - my typical exchange story ranks in the "novel" range of length. I just don't know how to write a clever, short story. I'm supposed to be writing o-fic, anyway. Maybe 2010 will be my year for that ...

I wish I had your problem--novel length! I can't seem to do more than a few thousand at a stretch. I understand the reasoning, even as I mourn you not doing more!

I hope it is. I would dearly love to see something original from you. If you ever need a sounding board or anything, I am here!

Of course, I should be writing more original, but somehow I find myself attempting a mini-Nano with unexpected fic instead. Le sigh.
